1970 CORVETTE
First car I worked on for money was a very sad 1970 corvette. The fiberglass was damaged all over, including an old repair that defied belief...
A lot of time (and money) later is all looked a whole lot better...
I got a reputation for Corvette work, and for taking on projects that nobody else wanted to touch. It wasn't long before i started on the next
1970 CORVETTE
This car had come in an absolute state. Needed front cut change and every panel replaced bar the deck, and floor. Body work done, it went home and is currently painted but not assembled
Another big challenge was what looked like an easier job but these cars are deceptive..
1968 CORVETTE
Turned out to have a twisted birdcage and needed a whole donor firewall
1959 CORVETTE
A more pleasant car to have worked on was this 59 corvette that was in for a new front clip a few repairs and door gaping.
A nice job came along in the form of an insurance job for a local Crash shop
1972 CORVETTE
The insurance company (who shall remain nameless) was adamant that the front be cut and joined through the wheel arch. NOT the right way to repair this car
It did come out alright and painted up a treat
Along the way came the best project ever
PRODIGY, a cross between a written off C5 and a basket case C2 Corvette
This car has to be seen to be believed and more can be found at: http://www.prodigy-z06.com
